CODE OF CONDUCT

Central Lancashire Slings Studio on Sumner Street in Leyland (referred to in this document as ‘The Studio’) is an inclusive and welcoming space that recognises and values the inherent worth and dignity of everyone. We want the space to be somewhere that everyone is treated fairly, in a safe and nurturing environment.

For this to happen, we believe everyone should foster tolerance, sensitivity, community spirit, understanding, and mutual respect, among all that use the space.

As such, we expect everyone who uses the Studio – whether they are staff, or visitors – to follow the principles and expectations of our Code of Conduct.

OUR PRINCIPLES & EXPECTATIONS

We expect everyone who uses the Studio to treat others with mutual respect and dignity. We will not tolerate any bullying, intimidation, violence, or threatening behaviour of any kind.

We believe that everyone should be treated equally and that diversity should be celebrated. We want the Studio to be accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability.

We will not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, obscene language, sexism, harassment or any other behaviour that is deemed offensive.

Please remember that this is a space designed for families with young children – be mindful of the language that you use when in the space.

We expect users of the Studio to respect the property and space of other users. We ask that users of the Studio do so safely and take responsibility for their own actions. We also ask that users remain vigilant of their children and supervise them at all times.

We ask everyone to treat the Studio with respect. Any use of illegal drugs or smoking paraphernalia (including vapes) on the premises is strictly forbidden. Please do not bring smoking items (including vapes) into the Studio.
